The conjunction “weil” — because
weil + Verb am Ende
weil: verb at the end
weil means “because” or “since” and gives a reason. After weil the verb goes to the end of the clause.

Watch out: There is always a comma before weil.
Tip: weil is the usual “because” in everyday speech.
Weil am Satzanfang
weil at the start
weil can also start the sentence. Then the second clause is inverted: the two verbs meet at the comma.
